Juan Manuel Santos served as President of Colombia from 2010 to 2018 and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2016 for his efforts to end Colombia's 60-year conflict with FARC. He currently serves as Chair of The Elders, the independent group of global leaders founded by Nelson Mandela.
